The Columbus, Ohio based firm of Budros, Ruhlin & Roe was selected from a field of RIAs that met the following criteria:

1. The firm provides financial planning services, portfolio management for individuals, or conducts due diligence on third party advisors
2. More than 50% of the firm’s business serves the retail segment of the market
3. The firm does not charge commissions or sell proprietary products
4. The firm does not do business as a broker-dealer, insurance company or bank
