James L. Budros, CFP®
Jim Budros is a principal of Budros, Ruhlin & Roe, Inc. His professional accomplishments and 30 years of experience in the financial planning, investment and trust industries have solidified his reputation as one of America’s leading financial advisors. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant and a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
Jim is a board member of the Kidd Family Foundation. He is also the co-chair of the Professional Council of The Columbus Foundation and former Chair and board member of the Columbus School for Girls.
He was elected the first Chair of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Practice Standards, and served as a member of the Certified Financial Planner™ Board of Governors for six years.
Jim has consistently been named one of the “Best Financial Advisers” in the U.S. by Worth magazine and appeared on the cover of Barron’s featuring America’s top financial planners.
He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Hanover College, an M.B.A. from Texas Christian University and an M.S. in Financial Services from The American College. He is a graduate of the Manufacturers Hanover Trust School in New York and the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University.
He is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and the nationally recognized wealth management consortium, The Alpha Group.
