Daniel B. Roe, CFP®
Dan Roe is a Principal and Chief Investment Officer of Budros, Ruhlin & Roe, Inc. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Dan has been advising clients, and in the financial services industry, for more than twenty years. Prior to joining Budros, Ruhlin & Roe in 1996, Dan owned his own fee-only wealth management practice in Cincinnati, Ohio. His primary focus has been on portfolio management issues, but his professional expertise extends to insurance, tax and retirement planning.
He is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA), the Financial Planning Association (FPA), and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), and has been active in the financial planning community by serving as chair of professional conferences, speaking at numerous professional conferences and has served as President of his local IAFP (now FPA) chapter.
Dan was named one of “100 Great Financial Planners” coast-to-coast by
Mutual Funds magazine. He has been featured on the widely followed websites, TheStreet.com and Moneyshow.com and is frequently quoted in the national media. He was also profiled in
Morningstar Advisor magazine and has been a contributing columnist for the “Planning Your Financial Future” edition of
Columbus CEO magazine, in addition to being the author of the firm’s Market Outlook.
He is also a Trustee of the Phi Delta Theta Walter B. Palmer Foundation, is active with his church finance committee and serves as a member of the Professional Advisory Board of The Salvation Army of Columbus.
