Wealth Manager Isaiah Stidham, CPA, CFP®, earns his Certified Exit Planning Advisor certificate Posted on August 21, 2017September 5, 2019 by Kathryn OsterWe are proud to announce that Isaiah Stidham, CPA, CFP® has received his certification from the Exit Planning Institute as a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA)*.Since 2007, the Exit Planning Institute has specialized in training professional advisors from a diverse set of disciplines through a specific process for exit planning and providing them with the tools needed to assist owners exiting their business. To earn the designation of CEPA, the advisor must take a five-day MBA-style course as well as pass a certification exam. To date the program has certified over 400 professional advisors from eight countries around the world.Earning this designation has provided Isaiah with the necessary tools to assist in improving the success of business transitions, whether intergenerational, to an existing business partner or employee, or to a third party. Certificate holders like Isaiah employ a wholistic approach for maximizing the after-tax value of the business, defining the personal financial needs of a business owner and helping business owners develop a life plan of their personal goals outside of the business.Isaiah joined Budros, Ruhlin & Roe in 2011 and currently serves as a Wealth Manager to clients as part of a team. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Otterbein University and a Master of Accounting degree from The Ohio State University’s Max M. Fisher College of Business. Isaiah is both a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant and a Certified Public Accountant.Prior to joining Budros, Ruhlin & Roe, Isaiah spent several years as a member of the Private Client Advisors group of Deloitte Tax, LLP, where he specialized in tax compliance and planning for high-net worth individuals, estates, trusts, and family-owned businesses. He later served as a tax manager with Norman, Jones, Enlow & Co.Although Isaiah looks forward to continuing to serve clients in his current role as Wealth Manager, he will also play an active role in further developing our firm’s initiatives for serving individuals who hold a significant portion of their wealth in a privately-held business.
